In addition to paralegals, legal assistants, and legal secretaries, DOXA’s Legal practice places associate attorneys for law firms and corporate legal departments that need qualified legal professionals for research, contract drafting, document review, discovery support, and case preparation work. Associate attorneys placed through DOXA are vetted for their specific practice area expertise, legal education credentials, and English language proficiency in the context of U.S. legal work. They are not licensed to practice law in U.S. jurisdictions and function in a supervised legal support capacity under the direction of licensed U.S. attorneys — a structure explicitly recognized by ABA guidance on lawyer supervision of non-U.S.-licensed legal professionals.
